Long-Tail Query
A long-tail query is a longer, more specific, and less common search phrase — as opposed to a short, high-volume "head" query — that often expresses more detailed shopper intent.
Part of Search Intent
Individually, long-tail queries have low search volume, but collectively they can make up a large share of total searches. They are also disproportionately likely to return zero results, because they are harder for keyword-only search to match against typical, shorter product titles.
